Popper Work is a team communication and coordination service developed and operated by Popper Labs. This policy applies when you use Popper Work on the web, desktop, or mobile, visit the public popper.work website, or contact us for support.

Your organization controls who can join its workspace and may set additional rules for how its members use Popper Work. Connected services such as GitHub and Linear have their own privacy policies, which govern their handling of information outside Popper Work.

We process information that is needed to provide the service, including:

• Account and workspace data, such as your name, email address, profile photo, timezone, organization membership, role, and preferences.
• Collaboration content, such as messages, reactions, files and media you choose to upload, schedules, status and availability information, call participation details, and other workspace activity.
• Connected-service data, such as authorized GitHub or Linear workspace, repository, issue, and activity information when your organization enables those integrations.
• AI feature inputs and outputs, including the request you submit and the authorized workspace context needed to answer it when you choose to use an AI-assisted feature.
• Device and technical data, such as app and operating-system version, device type, push-notification token, IP address, session and security events, and diagnostic logs.
• Support and website data, including information you send to support and public-site usage information such as page views, browser type, and referring page when website analytics are enabled.

We use information to:

• create and secure sessions, identify your workspace, and apply member permissions;
• deliver messages, files, calls, schedules, status, notifications, and team views;
• run integrations and AI-assisted features that you or your organization request;
• provide customer support and investigate reliability or security problems;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Popper Work; and
• comply with applicable law and protect Popper Work, our users, and others.

Information may be made available to:

• Your workspace. Messages, profile details, status, schedules, files, and other collaborative information are shown to authorized members according to the workspace and conversation you use. Workspace owners and administrators can manage membership, settings, and integrations.
• Service providers. We use providers for infrastructure, data storage, email delivery, notifications, live audio and video, software distribution, analytics, support, and AI processing. They process information on our behalf to provide those services.
• Connected services. When you or your workspace enables an integration, we exchange the information needed to perform the requested connection with that provider.
• Authorities or other partieswhen reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Popper Work asks for device access only when it supports a feature you choose to use. Your operating system controls these permissions, and you can change them in device settings.

• Camera and microphone support video and audio calls and media capture. Popper Work accesses them after you grant permission and use the relevant feature.
• Photos, files, and media let you select attachments or save media when you request it.
• Speech recognition supports voice dictation when you start it.
• Notifications let Popper Work deliver message, call, and workspace alerts to your device.

Popper Work does not request access to your device location or contacts.

We retain information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide and secure Popper Work, maintain workspace records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. The exact period depends on the type of information and why it is held.

Popper Work is a shared workspace. Removing a member does not necessarily remove messages, files, activity records, or other content they contributed where that information remains part of the organization's shared history. Limited security records, audit information, and backup copies may also remain after other data is removed.

To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, email hello@popperlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with your workspace owner before acting on workspace-controlled information. We will handle the request in accordance with applicable law and any information we must retain for security or legal reasons.

We use measures designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections, secure token storage in our mobile apps, workspace and role-based access controls, tenant isolation, and monitoring for operational and security failures. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your sign-in details and report suspected misuse promptly.

• Change camera, microphone, photo, speech, and notification access in device settings.
• Update available profile and preference information inside Popper Work.
• Disconnect personal integration links where that control is available.
• Ask your workspace administrator about membership or organization-controlled data.
• Contact us to exercise privacy rights that apply where you live. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity and authority over the request.

Popper Work and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate arrangements for international processing and continue to apply the protections described in this policy.

Popper Work is a workplace service and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Popper Work, please contact us so we can review the situation.

We may update this policy when Popper Work or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
